A glimpse into the 4th generation of Sky-Walker software

Last week was filled with excitement as we hosted our Sky-Walker 4 release event on June 19th. This event highlighted the latest product launch for the 4th generation of Sky-Walker PSIM software. It was organized into several engaging sessions, including a kick-off session, 2 main sessions, and 3 rotational sessions.. Guests were treated to a variety of live demonstrations throughout this unforgettable day. The event included a variety of presentations, demonstrations, networking opportunities, and much more. We created an idea board to collect innovative suggestions from our guests.

Preparations for the event 

Before starting the release event, we prepared the introduction for Sky-Walker 4, tested the demonstrations to ensure everything operated flawlessly, created personalized badges for guests, arranged custom-branded wine for our guests, and set the stage for the Sky-Walker 4 product launch. Food and beverages were available throughout the event. With help from our team, we were able to kick off the event smoothly and wrap it up successfully.

What was showcased at the release event?

🥽 VR:

Immerse yourself in the role of a security operator as you engage with Sky-Walker 4 in a mixed-reality environment. The game enables you to tackle an incoming security threat while displaying your incident response time on a leaderboard. Guests experienced the virtual reality game firsthand during break.

🤖 AI-driven service robot:

Our service robot made an appearance at the event as well. Her role was to greet guests and display promotional materials from Sky-Walker 4. Did you also know that we can send commands to the robot directly through Sky-Walker? Within our latest demonstration, we can direct the robot to specific locations and execute Text-To-Speech commands straight from Sky-Walker.

👾Drone: 

A drone was flying around the event, capturing stunning footage for an after movie, which you can watch below! We also featured a live stream from the drone in one of our demonstrations during the event. Sky-Walker receives the live video through an RTMP stream, which is a communication protocol supported by our IP-Matrix video solution. The IP-Matrix is shown in the control room demo.

What live demos were shown?

Demo 1:

This demo was shown at the entrance and showcased the latest Sky-Walker 4 features. New features include a simplified hierarchy, 2D navigation, GIS, Incident Manager, and improved security. Demo 2:

This demo highlighted how Tier 1 (Nova) and Tier 2 (Pulse) would work in the field. Tier 1 showed Sky-Walker 4 being used as a single monitor work environment. Whereas Tier 2 expands to two monitors with more features. New features include dynamic day/night modes, simplified GUIs, hover/selected button states for a better user experience, hide/show alarm buffer, full screen modes, and much more! Demo 3:

There couldn't be a better place to showcase the RATP demo in our very own control room itself! This demo showcased advanced GIS features for security teams in the field that are constantly on the move. Within Sky-Walker, it is possible to track the coordinates of your mobile teams in real-time.

Event highlights

The big day! 🎉

Following the welcome, we transitioned into the main session, where guests, including end users, installers, partners, and advisors, were divided into two groups. Each group received information regarding the Sky-Walker 4 product launch. Both groups got the opportunity to try out the VR Headset and explore the AI-driven robotics during breaks. After the main session, the groups were further split into three for rotation sessions. In these sessions, each group explored the technical details of Sky-Walker 4, discussing new features, comparisons with Sky-Walker 3, such as the Case Study RATP, Customer Portal & Training, all presented by the Entelec team.

As we approached the closing of the event, everyone came together once more to listen to the wrap-up by Patrick Leeflang.

We took a moment to express our appreciation to all the guests for joining us at our release event!

We completed the event with lively music, refreshing beverages, Belgian fries, and Indonesian dishes from food trucks for everyone to enjoy.
