How did we get started?

Entelec was founded in 1992 by Miet Loix. For almost 30 years, we have been active in the field of open integration of systems using our own software platform, Sky-Walker. We have been able to realize many beautiful, often large projects for our customers.


We have spread over 4 countries, namely Belgium (our head office), the Netherlands, France and the UK. From those different locations, we are able to reach customers all over the world, and fulfill their needs in terms of security and safety matters.

1992

Founding

Entelec Control Systems was founded in 1992 by CEO Miet Loix.

1993

First Integration Project

For a major Belgian airline we connected their access-control system with a camera-security system and visualized the interaction on one platform.

1997

Entelec R&D

Having our own R&D department enabled us to develop a customization integration platform and to sell licenses abroad. It led to the creation of our new product: Sky-Walker.

2006

Entelec Goes Global

Sky-Walker started being distributed worldwide on a license base via Value Added Resellers, initially in Scandinavia, the US, India, and the Middle East.

2011

Our International Expansion

With projects and turnover increasing, local offices in the Netherlands and the UK were opened. Commercial staff were complemented by strong, technical support teams.  

2018

Entelec Looks To The Future

Further success and growth necessitates setting up a new office in France and appointing an International Sales Manager, an International Projects Manager, and internalizing our Marketing.
