An interview between Entelec and Nenova IT

Nenova write articles about collaborations and experiences that they share with other companies. They had a session with Patrick Leeflang who is the international sales manager at Entelec.

In this interview Patrick spoke with Roland Heesen, one of the founders of Nenova IT, about Sky-Walker, process optimization and the importance of a customer oriented approach.

Nenova IT

Nenova IT is a new player in the safety, security and control room sector. As independent consultancy specialists, who like to distinguish themselves by using a progressive and innovative approach. Their expertise lies in the process knowledge of emergency response, incident management, crisis management, security and functional knowledge of safety, security and control room management platforms. They see a fragmented market with too little attention to collaboration and innovation, it is their goal to change this. They want to build a bridge between parties and contribute to the 'control room of tomorrow'.

A PSIM as a driver for the primary business process

A PSIM platform extends far beyond the management of security systems. As Patrick explains, "We want to ensure that primary business processes run smoothly. We do this by giving security guards, operators and building managers more insight and overview into safety, security and comfort systems." Roland acknowledges the power of an integration platform like Skywalker: "By creating a full operational picture, business processes can be better designed. This allows organizations to make well informed choices. Choices that contribute to the safety and security processes but also ensure that an organization can save costs by designing other processes more efficiently."

Patrick: "Ultimately, our goal is to handle both foreseen and unforeseen situations as efficiently as possible. On the one hand, to limit damage and negative consequences of incidents. On the other hand, to allow organizations to operate from their strengths, and thus to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible. Our slogan 'building software that matters' underlines this. We really want to deliver a software platform that can make a difference to our clients. By digitizing processes and deploying employees in a better way".

The customer at number 1

Patrick and Roland both emphasize that the needs and wishes of the customer should always be the starting point for a collaboration. Patrick: "Simply walking into the customer's office and doing everything possible to get to the bottom of their problems. Helping a customer to better organize his processes and thus optimize his business." Roland: "It is precisely this customer focus that is of paramount importance at Nenova. Ultimately, our goal is to create a win-win situation for all parties involved. For the customer, we realize an optimally arranged platform and a stable information supply. From this, Entelec get an even better picture of the customer's wishes and requirements, which enables them to match their product more successfully to the relevant needs in the market." This is how we all contribute to innovation in the safety, security and control room sector. "Together we innovate."
