The Position

As a System Engineer, you are responsible for implementing, configuring, and integrating our solution at customer sites. 


You ensure that systems are set up correctly, subsystems work together seamlessly, and the solution meets high quality and security standards. You work in complex environments and are in regular contact with end customers, partners, and internal teams.


 In-depth technical insight, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are crucial to delivering integrations correctly and in a future-proof manner.

About you

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent through experience.

• You have at least 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within security, safety, or software.

• You have a strong IT technical foundation (networks, operating systems, virtualisation).

• You have an affinity with APIs and system integrations.

• You have knowledge of SQL and database management.

• You understand the importance of security and quality guidelines.

• You work in a structured manner and can manage multiple priorities.

• You work independently, take initiative, and think solution-oriented.

• You communicate fluently and in a client-focused manner.

• You are fluent in Dutch; English and/or French are a strong plus.


Your tasks and Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

 • Installing, configuring, and delivering the solution in various client environments

 • Setting up functional and technical configurations according to project requirements

 • Working with more complex installations and demanding clients

 • Ensuring that every implementation meets the applicable quality and security standards


Subsystem Integration

 • Realising correct and stable integrations with external subsystems

 • Collaborating with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth integrations

 • Testing integrations to guarantee quality, reliability, and correct behaviour

 • Working on more complex integrations within security, safety, and building management environments


Testing & Quality

 • Performing functional tests during the implementation phase

 • Detecting, documenting, and reporting issues

 • End-to-end testing to ensure a high-quality delivery


Documentation & Handover

 • Producing clear and complete documentation for clients and internal teams

 • Drawing up functional designs, intervention reports, user manuals, and configuration documentation

 • Ensuring a correct handover to the client and internal departments


Collaboration & Communication

 • Close collaboration with internal teams (Development, QA, Customer Care, Operations)

 • Coordination with external parties such as end clients, IT managers, and installation partners

 • Clearly communicating on progress, risks, and points of attention

• Regular reporting to the Operations Manager


Knowledge & Development

 • Continuously learning about new technologies, tools, and best practices

 • Building and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the platform

 • Training users in the correct and safe use of the solution
