As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a crucial role in keeping our clients’ systems operational and reliable. This role primarily consists of carrying out preventive maintenance on site at clients in Belgium and the Netherlands.
You ensure that delivered systems continue to function correctly, detect potential problems, and resolve issues before they impact the client. You are often on the road and in direct contact with clients, making communication skills and a client-focused attitude essential.

When not on site, you support the support team in resolving technical issues. You are therefore an important link between the client, support, and the rest of the organisation.
About you
• You hold a technical qualification (preferably a Bachelor’s in IT, electronics, or a related field) or equivalent through experience.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a technical support, maintenance, or service role.
• You have a good knowledge of IT environments, software, and/or technical systems.
• You are strong in problem analysis and troubleshooting.
• You work independently, take initiative, and are organised in your approach.
• You are communicative, client-focused, and professional in your interactions.
• You are flexible and comfortable with being regularly on the road.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Experience in the security, safety, or software sector is an asset.
• Preventive on-site maintenance – Carrying out scheduled maintenance visits at clients in Belgium and the Netherlands to ensure the correct operation and stability of systems.
• Monitoring & troubleshooting – Checking systems during maintenance visits, identifying potential problems, and resolving technical issues that arise.
• 2nd line support – Supporting clients with more complex technical problems and collaborating with internal teams for further analysis or follow-up.
• Client contact & service – Direct contact with clients on site, communicating professionally, managing expectations, and actively contributing to high client satisfaction.
• Collaboration with the support team – Working with the internal support team when not travelling, to analyse and resolve issues.
• Documentation & feedback – Recording completed maintenance work, findings, and solutions, and sharing feedback with internal teams to further improve the service.
• Knowledge development – Building and maintaining a thorough knowledge of the platform and the integrated systems.
