We’re seeking a skilled professional to make a real impact by building efficient, scalable software solutions. In this role, you’ll work on the innovative Skywalker application, creating subsystem interfaces, solving complex technical challenges, and ensuring top-notch software performance and security. As a Developer, you'll not only write high-quality code but also mentor and guide Junior Developers, fostering a collaborative team environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines, continuously innovate, and keep up with the latest technologies.

• Collaborate Like a Pro: Work closely with internal teams—Development, Quality Assurance, and Product Management—to deliver top-notch solutions.
• Review and Improve Code: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards and offer constructive feedback.
• Optimize Performance: Keep applications fast and responsive by continuously improving performance.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research and implement the latest tools and technologies to improve workflows and security.
• Lead by Example: Coach and guide Junior Developers, helping them grow while fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
• Test, Troubleshoot, and Resolve: Dive into the details with test-driven development, and solve performance or security issues swiftly.
• Maintain Agile Practices: Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring quality, security, and deadlines are met.
• Document with Clarity: Create clear documentation to make future maintenance and compliance easy.
• Support and Guide: Help internal teams resolve issues quickly and effectively to keep the wheels turning smoothly.
• You have minimum 3-5 years (Medior) or 7+ (Senior) years of experience as a Software Developer. Experience in the security and safety or building management industry is considered a big plus.
• You have an excellent command in English and Dutch. French is considered a plus.
• You excel in C# & .NET, with strong API/SDK knowledge.
• You are skilled in Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and Secure Development practices.
• You possess excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• You take initiative and are able to work autonomously.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to adequately mentor Juniors.
• You have a strong knowledge of secure coding, encryption algorithms, and data protection.
• You have SCRUM experience and writes clear documentation.
• You are adaptable, flexible and eager to keep learning.
• You are creative and innovation-minded.
