The Position
In order to further expand our business, we are looking for a System Engineer for our Belgian office in Diepenbeek, Belgium.

As a System Engineer, you won’t just set up systems; you’ll make them work seamlessly in the real world. You’ll implement, configure, and integrate our solutions at customer sites, ensuring that every component fits together flawlessly and meets the highest standards for quality and security.
Your role is essential in complex environments where technology, people, and processes come together. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to turn technical challenges into reliable, future-proof solutions.
If you thrive on deep technical understanding, analytical thinking, and getting the details right, you’ll play a key part in delivering integrations that are not only correct but built to last.
Your tasks and Responsibilities
• Bring our solutions to life by installing, configuring, and delivering them across a variety of customer environments.
• Translate project requirements into functional and technical setups that actually work in the real world.
• Navigate complex installations and demanding environments with confidence and precision.
• Ensure every implementation meets strict quality and safety standards — no shortcuts, no compromises.

• Integrate our platform seamlessly with external subsystems, making everything communicate as one cohesive solution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep integrations smooth and future-proof.
• Test integrations thoroughly to guarantee stability, reliability, and correct system behavior.
• Work on advanced integrations within security, safety, and building management environments.

• Perform functional testing during implementation to validate performance in real-world conditions.
• Identify, document, and report issues before they become problems.
• Execute end-to-end testing to ensure every delivery meets the highest quality expectations.

• Create clear, structured documentation that empowers both customers and internal teams.
• Develop functional designs, intervention reports, user guides, and configuration documentation.
• Ensure smooth handovers so customers and colleagues can move forward with clarity and confidence.

• Partner closely with Development, QA, Customer Care, and Operations to deliver integrated success.
• Align with customers, IT stakeholders, and installation partners to keep everyone moving in the same direction.
• Communicate progress, risks, and key considerations with clarity and transparency.
• Provide regular updates and insights to the Operations Manager.

• Keep learning — exploring new technologies, tools, and best practices that improve delivery and performance.
• Build deep expertise in the platform and its ecosystem.
• Train users to work with the solution safely, effectively, and with confidence.
The Role Suits You Because
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent through experience.
• Have 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical role within the security, safety, or software domain.
• Are fluent in Dutch, with English and/or French as a strong plus, enabling smooth communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Have a strong IT foundation, including networking, operating systems, and virtualization.
• Have hands-on experience with APIs and system integrations.
• Have working knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Understand the importance of security and quality standards in technical environments.
• Have a structured way of working and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Are proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Are a clear communicator with a customer-focused mindset, comfortable working across teams and environments.
What's In It For You
• A full-time, permanent contract.
• A technically challenging role with real impact at customer sites.
• Work in an international yet people-driven organization where collaboration matters.
• A role that offers autonomy and ownership in your day-to-day work.
• Opportunities for growth, learning, and continuous knowledge development.
• Flexible working arrangements.
• 32 vacation days (on a full-time basis).
• A competitive salary package with attractive extra-legal benefits.
• Laptop, mobile phone & subscription, group and hospitalization insurance.
